Ingredients
- Ragi flour – 2 cups (240 g)
- Hot water – ~1 to 1¼ cups (240–300 ml)
- Finely chopped onion – ½ cup
- Grated carrot – ¼ cup (optional)
- Green chilli – 1, finely chopped
- Cumin – ½ tsp; Salt – 1 tsp
- Oil/ghee for cooking
Process
- Mix ragi, salt, onion, carrot, chilli, cumin.
- Add hot water gradually; knead to a soft dough. Rest 5 min.
- Grease sheet/tawa; pat a thin disc with wet fingers.
- Cook on medium with a few drops of oil till brown spots; flip and cook done.
