Tips to Make Besan Laddu
- Use the finer texture ProPoshan besan or a coarser texture besan. However, the texture of the Besan Ladoo will be gritty if you use the coarser besan.
- Roast the gram flour on medium heat and stir continuously until it begins to release ghee and a nutty aroma, as mentioned in the Besan Ladoo recipe.
- The besan is ready when it turns golden and releases a nutty aroma. Avoid over-roasting to prevent bitterness.
- Allow the roasted besan to cool slightly before adding ghee and sweeteners to avoid separation.
- Taste the mixture before shaping the Besan Ladoos to adjust the sweetness to your preference.
Lightly grease your hands with ghee while shaping the Besan Ladoos to prevent sticking.
